Dr. Ion Rotaru, DMD
Originally from Moldova, Dr. Rotaru is fluent in both Romanian and Russian. After moving to the United States, he pursued his passion for dentistry by earning degrees in biomedical sciences and dental medicine before beginning his career serving the Tampa Bay community.
Dr. Rotaru is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. He believes in taking the time to listen to each patient’s concerns, educating them about their treatment options, and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles through high-quality, personalized care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Rotaru enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new places, staying active outdoors, and learning about different cultures. He also values being involved in his local community and building lasting relationships with the people he serves.

Dr. Miguel Lopez Jr. DMD, PA
Born and raised in Moldova, Dr. Rotaru is fluent in both Romanian and Russian. He has proudly called the Tampa Bay area home since 2005.
Dr. Rotaru earned his B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida in 2013, followed by his D.M.D. from the University of Florida in 2017, and began his career serving patients at a community clinic in Tampa.
With over 15 years of experience in dental hygiene and preventive care, Dr. Rotaru specializes in advanced cleaning techniques and periodontal therapy, tailoring every appointment to each patient's individual needs.
